This was Grace’s first tour in 6 ½ years. It was a short six stop tour playing at small venues in support of her new album “Childstar”. For the first time on tour, she did not have a band, but a backing track. Instead, she had three dancers on stage, doing an adapted version of the choreography from her "CHILDSTAR Final Act" performance video. (There would not have been room for both dancers and musicians on most of the stages at these venues anyway). At each show, Grace accompanied herself on guitar on "Ur So Beautiful". Another first on tour. At the New York show, she dedicated the song to her mother, who was in the audience. As the final installment of the CHILDSTAR Tour, Grace did an online live performance of five songs on the Norwegian startup Live music streaming service VIER. The show had originally been scheduled for May 1, but was postponed because Grace was ill.
Dancers
The dancing was choreographed by Lucca Renzi, who also, together with Grace, did the choreography for the "CHILDSTAR Final Act" video. The dancers were Tea Deveraux, Jane Zogbi and Camila Arana. Tea and Jane were also in the "CHILDSTAR Final Act" video.

Eren Cannata
Graces cowriter on much of the Childstar album, Eren Cannata accompanied Grace on guitar at the ”Soundcheck” before the Toronto show. We do not know if she had anyone supporting her at the soundchecks at the other shows. (The Soundchecks took place 20-30 minutes before the general audience were let in, where Grace sang a couple of songs and answered question from people who had paid for VIP tickets.)
About planning the tour and the show
In an interview with Nylon Magazine, Grace talked about planning the tour: "It’s stressful. I feel like I'm planning so many things at once, but also nothing at all. You actually just reminded me that I need to open up my laptop and get on Pinterest and start coming up with ideas. But I'm really excited. I'm very open and public about my love for performing and touring. It's the happiest thing in my life. It's definitely going to break the typical singer-to-fan concert mold. Let’s just say it's going to be an immersive artistic experience."
In an interview with Numero Netherlands Grace explained: "I’m most excited about exploring another realm of expression and creativity. With this album, I’ve already pushed myself into new areas like dance, film, and poetry. I see this tour as another opportunity to expand the world of 'CHILDSTAR' and create something truly unique and special. … I really want to shatter the traditional concert experience. It’s going to be very theatrical and abstract, staying true to the story and aesthetic of 'CHILDSTAR'."
